CHURCH BIBLE CONFERENCE MAY 11th-14th 2008 Sunday 10am. Monday 7.30pm – 9pm Tuesday 7.30pm-9pm Wednesday 7.30pm – 9pm Lots of books and conferences promise to reveal what will happen in the 'End Times', what does the bible have to say and how should we live in the light of that? Lord willing May, 11th-14th, we are looking forward to the visit of David Jackman from London, UK to address the topic of the Christian Hope. This special bible conference week will start on Sunday 11th May at our regular church time but in addition, David will continue the series for 3 evenings Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th at 7.30pm. Women's bible study and growth groups will be cancelled that week to enable everyone to attend these sessions. Please write them into your diaries/outlook/ical/calendars! David Jackman has been a pastor as well as a trainer of preachers for many years in the UK. He ran the Cornhill Training Course in London which so helped me as a young preacher, is currently the President of the Proclamation Trust and is just a smashing bloke! He last visited us in 2004 where he helped us lead our Workshop on Biblical Exposition for pastors and so I am thrilled he is returning with the focus of being an encouragement to the whole congregation.
