CRU: Christ Rescues Us (September – May)

Wednesday Nights 6:00 – 8:00 (Pizza Provided)

CRU is our midweek Junior and Senior High ministry. We actively pursue and create a hospitable environment where students can hear, accept, and be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this through the study of God’s word, discipleship, and tons of fun. A student can expect to feel welcomed and known, hear God’s truth, and have a blast!

Sunday School (September-May)

Sunday 9:00 am in the Youth Activity Center (Warehouse)

The primary mission of our Jr. & Sr. High Sunday school program is to cultivate a passion for becoming and creating disciples in the lives of teenagers. We strive to accomplish this goal by using creative teaching styles, Biblical and Gospel-Centered curriculums, and discipleship driven teachers and volunteers. We strive to equip teenagers with the tools to engage the world with a biblical worldview; with knowledge to interpret the scriptures; and, to develop future disciples as they grow in their own discipleship journey.

Guy/Girl Nights (September – May)

Camp.JPG

Three times per year, we host separate Guy/Girl Nights. These events allow for relationship building amongst peers of the same gender. Guys have enjoyed activities such as basketball, laser tag, action movies, and much more. Girls have enjoyed activities such as bowling, tea parties, clothing swaps, and so much more.

Winter Retreat (February – President’s Day Weekend)

Our annual Youth Retreat known as “Grow” is for Junior and Senior High students. The purpose of “Grow” is to provide a climate that, according to 2 Peter 3:18, allows for students to “grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”. We accomplish this through the preaching of the Gospel and tons of fun! Every year, we take 40-50 students to 49Degrees North for skiing and snowboarding on Saturday. This is a highlight of the year for our Youth Ministry.

Montana Tubing Trip (August)

Every summer, we trip to Missoula, Montana to tube the legendary Blackfoot River (from the motion picture “A River Runs Through It”). It’s always a blast to get out into God’s creation for a weekend of camping, tubing, swimming and relationship building centered on God’s word and creation.

Mission Trip (Bi-Annual)

In 2018, our Senior High students went on our first domestic Mission Trip to the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. Every other year, we will lead a team of Senior High students to return to this area. While on mission, we serve and minister to the homeless; support local churches and community gardens; and, lead Vacation Bible Schools, Sports Camps, and Bible Studies. This is one of our most formational experiences of our Youth Ministry as students grow in their faith, learn to proclaim their faith, and even come to faith.
